I don’t think street style has entirely lost it’s authenticity. Fashion week is a time when everyone is fully decked out in designer duds. While I love how the street basically becomes a runway I have a hard time relating. It’s fun to see but it’s not exactly something I can run around in (or afford). There is definitely still great style in the off-season. I see plenty of stylish folks all the time, it’s just not as blazingly obvious.
Besides, it doens’t need to be super expensive or a designer label to be That’s the time that everyone is all decked out, but I think that during the off season you can still catch stylish people on the street.
